How exercise I install this on my phone? I have a Galaxy Note.
For the ringtones just put it in the /System/Media/Audio binder of ringtones.

I replaced the UI sounds and rebooted but I get that paper ripping audio when clicking on things (old android audio) and I was hoping I was going to get that water ripple sound like the S III...

Update: I stock-still it. It seems the nice chimera audio was a notification sound and non a UI audio. I institute that weird because in the SGS Iii reviews yous would hear a bubble audio with every printing on the screen (those are usually the Effect_Tick.ogg) which are UI sounds. Anyways, I just renamed the chimera notification sound as Effec_Tick and override it in the UI sounds using Root Explorer. Now I have my bubble sound.

so I went ahead and put the folders alarms, notifications and ringtones under the directory sdcard/media/audio and everthing is fine. I have all the notification sounds as well as warning sounds and ringtones...

now for the UI files I went ahead and used root explorer and went to system/media/audio and copied my original ui folder and then replaced it with the new one...I have the unlock sound and lock sound working fine as well as the camera snapshot sound and a few others...i retrieve. the touch sounds are the same and i noticed that in that location are files named keyPressspacebar, poweron and tw_volume_control. I do not hear these sounds when i perform the action on my telephone...any reason why? other than that I cant mutter and cheers for sharing!

I replaced the UI sounds and rebooted but I go that paper ripping sound when clicking on things (erstwhile android sound) and I was hoping I was going to get that water ripple sound similar the S 3...

Update: I fixed information technology. It seems the squeamish bubble sound was a notification audio and non a UI sound. I found that weird because in the SGS 3 reviews you would hear a chimera sound with every press on the screen (those are unremarkably the Effect_Tick.ogg) which are UI sounds. Anyways, I just renamed the bubble notification audio as Effec_Tick and override it in the UI sounds using Root Explorer. At present I take my bubble sound.

Information technology is a ui audio! Its called TW Touch.ogg in UI binder! ;)

Original permissions

Hey, guys. What I did was went into the /system/media/audio and I moved the 4 folders (alarm, notification, ringtones, and ui) onto my Sd menu just incase something bad happened. And and so I moved the new versions. I set the sound folders permission to rw- r-- r--. and I left the 4 folders permissions alone. Was I supposed to modify each folders permission? And if whatever 1 knows, what are the original permissions for the folders, thanks, considering now, my ringtones are not working. Cheers :D

Is the Galaxy Nexus .ogg files compatible with ringtones etc.?
Or exercise i demand to convert it to mp3?

Why do i have to copy the ringtones, alarms etc.. into the "SYSTEM" folder on Samsung phones?

On the sdcard there is a folder called media and audio.
Should piece of work on this folder also i think?!

Or is the Galaxy Nexus not "Samsung" like?

Do you know how to excerpt mp3 files out of youtube videos?
the only matter I found to make ringtones was this hither, but information technology must piece of work when you do information technology first as a exe file. proficient luck!

Thank you for sharing. :)

What is the system default ringtone of SGS3 (like SGS2 had "Delusion of you")?
